A remarkable collection of stories from the first year of the popular Arkansas radio show “Tales from the South,” where Arkansans bring their own true stories to life.

Tales from the South: Volume I is uniquely southern, in that while not all tales are set in Arkansas or the South (though a majority are), writers are either originally from Arkansas or live here currently, and the distinct southern art of storytelling rich in language, detail, and voice is alive in all of them.
